Autoflower- Lowryder questions

hey all!
getting ready to start my 1st grow...and just a quick question about Lowryder plants.

with the light times how many hourse would every1 recommend ?
because of the plant being a auto flower strain is it nessasary to do 12/12 or should i just go 18/6 from beggining ? sead to harvest?

what/if any nuts do u all recommend using! i want somthing as simple n cheap as possible...could you guys possibly list some sites avalible to purchuse of?

i will most probably be running a 250w HPS but am still deciding...on maybe getting 1 that i can use both MH & HPS..in soil as this will be my first grow....

Indoors, Lowryder completely eliminates the need to induce flowering by reduction of day-light hours; indeed, it eliminates the need for a timer, period. Yes, it will grow consistently well and finish under 24 hours of
light, from sprouting to harvest, in eight weeks. You can achieve similar results with 18 or 12 hours of light per day, if you like to give your room time to cool down, for example - 18 hours straight through until harves is
recommended. The point is, with Lowryder, there is no need for a change in the light period to induce flowering, nor is it necessary to have separate vegetative and flowering rooms.


I have grown these, they are really easy, put in a pot and forget about them for 9-10 weeks and its ready to crop, i used a pre nuted soil and only watered the plant, no feed needed at all.

i grow em 18/6
grew some on 12/12 along with a normal strain but didnt get as much off em
i dont really bother with grow nutes, they get what the need from the compost/soil
i start using flower nutes about week 3:

i start about 1/4 strength and slowly increase each week till about 1/2 strength, by then its time to harvest

next where would all you recommend getting a cheap 250w HPS ?
how much do u all usually yeild off 1 plant?

Get a high times magazine, they have light set ups for really really cheap, and they look good. but 18/6 light all the way, and use 1 to 2 gallon pots for em. I suggest just going for a 400 watt set up personally, but thats just me. Its worth the extra money imo, but I **** at growing so... :/

oh yield is between 20 and 40 grams normally. Good luck, im growing lowryder #2, AK47xblueberry and a mix pack so we'll see how that comes out.
