Hi guys, I use this method.

Storable cannabis cooking oil

THIS IS ABOUT MAKING A *NON-PERISHABLE* STASH OF COOKING OIL. THE DIFFERENCE IN USING OIL AND BUTTER IS THAT OIL CAN BE STORED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, WHERE AS BUTTER IS HIGHLY IMPRACTICLE TO STORE, AND IT TASTES BAD WHEN ITS MELTED, FROZEN, AND MELTED AGAIN. VEGETABLE OIL STASH IS THE NUMBER 1 SOLUTION TO ALL YOUR COOKING NEEDS - YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO IT ONCE TO MAKE DOZENS AND DOZENS OF BATCHES OF BROWNIES/COOKIES.

You may have problems with smoking in your house for whatever reason.
Consuming marijuana may be a stealthier option.

Be aware before you begin that oral consumption of marijuana laced products can have incredible effects on your mind and body.
You will be stoned much longer than if smoked.
Eat a little at a time and check the effects

ITEMS NEEDED:

1. 48 ounce bottle of Canola cooking oil
2. One large cooking pot
3. 1 ounce of nuggets or a quarter pound brick weed (or as much trim as you can fit in there.)
4. a metal wire strainer (to drain the oil)
5. a large funnel that fits in the cooking oil bottle

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Empty the entire bottle of oil into the large pot.

2. HEAT on medium heat on stove until the oil it hot but NOT boiling...about 200 degrees, or just below boiling is great.

3. crumble up marijuana into shake, and pour seeds, stems, and all into pot.. if you have nuggets, break it up into small bits, like shake

4. keep stirring well about every 10 minutes or so for the next 2 hours. Do NOT allow the mixture to boil, but try to keep it hanging just below the boiling point. Do not allow any boiling bubbles. If you see any remove from heat immediately and turn the heat dial down - SIMMERING.

extra: DO NOT boil the oil! Bring the temp up to hot, but not boiling. If you let it boil, it\'ll scorch everything and the oil/weed will turn a nasty black color and then you really will have a funny taste in your mouth...eww! remember to watch the heat and stir stir stir!

5. After 2 hours, the oil may appear greenish, and possibly a little brown. This is normal as the resin has been properly extracted from the leaf products.

6. You may want to let the oil cool for half an hour before this step. Carefully strain the oil through the strainer. Pour the oil into an equally large container - be sure to squeeze the weed well to get all the oil out (make sure that no weed or seeds have sifted through)

7. Funnel the oil back into the bottle

STORAGE:

The only thing I would like to add is that due to the fact that light degrades THC it should probably be stored in a light sealed container.

How much oil do I use in cooking?

Follow the directions on your brownie or cookie mix, but remember youre using your laced oil instead of cannabutter so if it says * amount of butter, then use * amount of laced oil!
Use a cautious approach and nibble your way up.

Tip: just be sure to gently shake your oil before each use, because the highest THC will tend to sink to the bottom

CONCLUSION:

DONT BLAME ME IF YOU EAT TOO MUCH AND TRIP OUT, this will be a VERY POTENT MIXTURE!
It is best to eat a little at a time and slowly step up to test your limits. Wait at least 1 hour to 90 min it takes a while to hit you :)

You can now store your oil for years to come in your kitchen cabinet without arousing suspicion.

The advantages of eating marijuana over smoking it are incredible. For one, if you are traveling by plane, car, or train, the police you may encounter along the way have NO WAY to know or suspect your Marijuana Treats are indeed THC laced.

Other reasons range from your living situation, to saving your lungs from smoking.

Thanks Hippy,
Ya know if you went the Iso route, you could allow the Iso to evaporate outdoors in the dark untill it is very concentrated, and then add that to your oil carefully not mixing it. As the rest of the Iso evaporates off it will leave the THC in the oil and you just did away with the two hours of high heat, and stirring.
One could also add different spices to that oil, MMMmmmMMmmm

You got me to thinking dude, a thing that hardly ever happens, LOL

So do you use it in the same way as the butter but its oil instead?

Thanks to H.I.E....I tried this method with my trim yesterday. Pretty much did everything Hippe suggested...but changed from canola to peanut oil and after two hours on heat I let it sit overnight before straining...The result a beautiful colored oil with a pungent cannabis smell.. This morning I made my wake and bake instead of smoking it,Pancakes cooked in cannaoil and served with maple syrup mmmmmmmmm. Hippie was right on with the potency warning I have been wasted all day...and loving it. Heres some pics of my cooking adventure...Pic 1 in the pot ready for oil. Pic 2 good ol Australian made peanut oil. pic 3 pour the oil onto trim. pic 4 after 2 hours of cooking. Pic 5 straining the oil. Pic 6 oil after straining. pic 7 back in the bottles ready for storage.I found I lost a bit of oil cause it was soaked up by the stem. See how the oil changed color from pic 1 to pic 7 very happy and to think I learned it right here.

This sounds great and I should try this with my left overs too!
Got one question though !

You said u were wasted all day! So how much did u have to digest to get that way?? Seem like alot of Oil for the Vains..!!

Once you try this and experience its effects, you will keep making it, its a great thing to keep in a cupboard for when your waiting for your crop to mature and your out of smoke, but as Kenn has descovered, its value can be used daily lol.

I personally do it a little different as I use Olive oil and NO heating of the oil.
Allow it to sit overnite "covered" of course, the color change will be less noticeable, flavour is less "biting" and storage for other uses is near endless.

Butter done the same way for brownies etc. and olive oil for pesto's / soups etc.

Thank you HIE, and I have a question. Is there any reason I shoudn't use a crockpot on low? I have a tendency to burn stuff on my gas stove;(

@HippyInEngland...Thanks for the recipe HIE...Do you know does it matter on the brand or type of Oil?...I read one article that saying something about only un hydrogenated oil like you would buy at a whole foods type health store???

Is that true or just a load of bunk? and will any fav oil work?

Thanks in Advance!
James

Trichomes are solvent and oil dissolvable, as long as the oil is edible oil, your good to go.

Heat is not needed, you can simply soak the material in oil and shake daily for 3 weeks, heating it speeds the process up dramatically.
