Yo Rasta
You have completed 11 weeks, is it really worth starting again from day one when you only have 25 more working days to become a full time employee?
Think about it : - )

Yo Ho Rasta,
I know how it feels Bro. Sometimes you need to out think the system, or the few in the chain of command that seem bent on making you miserable.
I would go over a few heads, and find my way to the personel office.
Once there ask what it was that was initially agreed upon. If someone gets cute with you, and says to follow the chain of command, your answer on the spot should be something like, " I would rather not make waves in my department, but I am a tad confused as to what I was told and what has become of my situation". Once you have your foot in the door, you need to try to get some answers, but not from the idiots that appear to be holding you back. Stay away from them, they do not care how you are treated, and that is sorta obvious if I follow you right.
If upper managment then dinks with you try to keep going up the chain of command, never get blindsided by those that are there to head off the weak minded. I know that sounds horrible, but that is what secretary's and low level management do. You need to get past that stuff politly, and find out what gives period.
In the end run if you find no satisfaction, then keep your head cool, walk out realizing that you are above that sorta petty stuff. They may not recognize the loss that they just suffered, but you will sleep better for having acted, and conducted yourself as a man should.
Remember it is their loss, and you walk away having learned the difference between a good company and one that bites.
Good Luck my brother

Man and here i had seen an ad for that Co. here and was thinking of taking on some away from the kids, bring in extra cash, and have something to do when away kind of thing. Now I'm not so sure about it , and I have to agree with Hippy and King on this it may be of better interest to go and sit it through till the period is over and see what kind of entry level benefits you get, before going for a new hire spot someplace else. plus then you may have the need to wait out a pay period and get stuck in a bad spot on a bill . Not wishing anything on you man but you just never know.Wishing the best with what choice you see as best.stay up man.

there must be a reason for this rasta.... maybe he knows someone high up? my suggestion is to stick with it tough it out or do something like talk to your boss. whats fair is fair and if in another week they say no- id hit the road. dont leave yet but its always good to have a backup plan- youve gotten this far why quit while your ahead? i can tell you many times where this hass happened to me and you knwo what i did....i told myself life suks chit happens and bite the bullet. i started back with my brother company and was working 7 days a week with no sick days busting *** with what i do- i showed the company i was the best they had and i just kept sticking it out and putting up with the **. ive gotten 4 raises, benifits and i make more money now than any manager there.ive only been with him a yr but for that yr i hve given 110 percent everyday and he knows he can count on me on any project no matter how big or small. theres a time to prove yourself and theres a time to reap the rewards. 12 weeks is nothing when your talking about a career- if its a good job with room to get bumped up- STICK WITH IT. lifes unfair, know this! even some managers have been there for 4 and 5 yrs they had days sick, time off etc. i made myself indespensible to the company going whereever they needed me with no whining. and its payed off.
good work always pays off, it just takes time for the higher up to see sometimes so keep shining like a supernova and the payback will come 10 fold.
and if it doesnt, it wasnt meant to be bro :)

trillions hit it square on . Work isn't supposed to be fun ,if it was you'de be paying them to do it.
A corp. like pepsi has advantages as an employer .
I don't know what kind of percs they offer but my guess would be that they must be better than average for your area .
If they weren't they couldn't make people jump thru the hoops to get the jobs.

Ah, see the problem is, you should be working for Coca-Cola! ;) lol...(Sorry, I couldn't resist! - Long time Coke drinker here.)
No, I'd be ticked-off, too! I always hold "someone" to their word (as I try to myself), and now they tell you something else? - I do think you deserve an explaination before deciding if you should work elsewhere. (Finding a new job is work in-itself.:**:)
