is there a certain amount of space that should be between plant pots? or is it cool if they are right beside each other?

Space is key. They all need light and if any branches are drowning out another branch kill the smallest growth

My plants sometimes touch there leaves together......they still grow fine and all....
But ideally you would want enough room so that none of the plants are touching each other.....they just grow better, and each plant has there own space....
If your tight on room, and your plants are touching each other...then so be it....wolnt harm anything.
I mean just look at a Sea Of Green......

Its cool if they touch. Its kinda anal to get upset over undergrowth.
