Some basic questions.

OK guys and gals. I have some pretty basic questions, but its stuff I dont know, so thought I'd better find out.

1. What are alternating nodes?

2. Can preflowers help determine the sex of a plant and how?

3. Will I increase yeild if i wait until maturity before switching to 12/12 flowering?

Thanks in advance, hope they dont seem to silly, but better to ask someone who knows, rather than assume.

That link i provided will also show that as well. ;) Yes the longer you veg the bigger the yield. ;)
