after i adjusted the water with the ph..my nute level is at 400 even though i have not added nute's ..ive heard that some water is harder than others..is der enough food in the water the way it is? or what shud i do?thanks

How high is it before you adjust it? They do make specific hydro nutes for hard water.

Or do like I have to and get a RO water filter they work great and are not expensive, in fact here is the one I have and I just fill a 20 gallon drum with it, takes about 12 hours to make 20 gallons.
