I couldn't believe this is true! I was searching around while bored for things that could be added to soil/water/lights to increase female ratios or just benefit the plant generally and this is what somebody said a while back on another forum (Not to be named).

"birth control pill.
dissolve in 1.5L of water.
put seeds in bottle and let them soak over night.
the next morning treat them as you would any other seed.

the seeds take in estrogen from the pill and have more of a chance of becoming female."

That is exactly what I was thinking! Some people can come up with some funky stuff. If this was true I would start watering my plants with some nice rum or tequilla and get some Patron flavored bud! Haha. One can wish!

Hahaha not to harsh on this but whatever site with that info is totally **. I searched around and learned tons of infos. Even though im a newbie with this, i still know that when seeds are developed on the buds, the sex already self determined, there's many factors that can change the sex but only to make it Hermie, not females nor males. So yeah, dont keep your hope up with missing any birth control pills or whatever to make them plants of your into females. If that could be as easy at you say , free weeds from me . LOL !!!

there have been several discussions on the topic already lol on this site and i dont think it will work at all and even if it did would you maybe want the plant to up take estrogen and then maybe you smoke it lol

The sex of all seeds are not predetermined. Within the plants first few weeks, moderate temps, high humidity, more nitrogen, blue light and lack of stress all contribute towards a higher percentage of females.

I believe you CAN soak seeds in a certain kind of tea, black tea my dad told me that contains a chemical or hormone that will promote females.

This is not a fact, just something my father (who is a botanist) told me.
