River water

Hey there i was just wondering if river water would be better for a plant then tap water cuz theres is the Peace river next to my house.

I'd test the water, "some" water sources are pretty polluted an nasty, especially at lower elevations.

Just like Hick said.Test the water out that you want to use first.I know some people that use river water in this site,I believe that HGB is one of them,I personally use lake water,It comes from a clean lake,it is fed by two springs.If you can find and use natural water sources,and the water isn't polluted,above and beyond.IMHO,I'd say go for it.Test the water out on one plant.See how that plant reacts to the water,after three or four waterings,and you see no ill effects from that water,then good to go.Lastly,when you bring your water home,just dont let it sit there.Get yourself a little aquarium bubbler system,with the bubbler stone on the end.Drop that in the water,to help keep the oxygen level high in your water and so it dont get stagnant.Hope this helps and Keep it GREEN:D

I use spring and creek water for all of my OD grows, but I get it near the source, and I trust the source :)
