couple LST questions

first is a mostly sativa better or does it not matter??? and whens the best point to bend the plant.once it gets its first node?or before???? after it has a couple????

the strian doesnt matter....after the plant has developed a few nodes and has some height to it you can start bending over lil by little the stems will be somewhat flexible and when you flatten the plant over with the top facing the side of the container it will grow back facing up to the the light in no time. you can start earlier but i would do it after the plant gets some girth on the main stalk.
