I have my 12/12 at 7:30 but need to switch to 12 is this ok?? Help

OK i have a SOG going, and they are about 10 days old and i started flowering 2 days ago. I have them set to 7:30am-7:30PM light period. And opposite dark period. But i just got second job and cant switch them manually at 7:30 "Long story" so now i need to switch my lighting to a different time frame. I want to switch them to 12:15pm-12:15am for the lighting. But not sure if i should leave them under the light till 12:15 thin start the switch or will that stress the plant... Thanks guys and remember shes only bin in flower for 2 days.

change it over so you end up with a longer nite . i dont know if 1 day of extra light will hurt, but i know 1 day of extra dark did not hurt mine. leave it off till 12:15 then start new cycle times if this makes sense.

:yeahthat: , If they only been in flowering for 2 days then its no biggie but i think that random light times will stress it. I read in a post that if your lighting schedule is flawed then it takes about 2-3 days untill it reconizes if its in veg or flowering. Im not a expert just heard that in a thread. Hopes this helps :)

I had to do the same thing and i dont think my plants suffered at all. So like everybody else said you dont need to worry.

OK, i just don't want my baby's to be stressed... So i turned the lights on them this morning at 7:30 and i am going to turn the light of at 12 and then go to every 12hrs... thanks guys....

I say F the manual light switching schedule you are doing and go buy a cheap Timer please its only about 10 bucks. A Timer for your light will save you and your plants from the stresses. Don't be cheap when you grow!

No thats not the problem... I am growing in my walk in closet, and its partitioned off so there is a veg room and a flower. Well anyways i just ordered air cooled hoods and vortex inline fans for ventilation because with the door to the closet closed it gets to the 90's, anyways they wont be in for 2 weeks so i am moving them every night into a different closet till my supplies get in... And please man, i am no where near cheep i make over 40K a year and i am 20. I have spent well over 2K on my room and have only started my room. Thanks for your concern but i have this covered.

Hey Tim sorry about the thing i said! I know you are not cheap( yeah second job give me a hint). Ayways bud, i have a walk in closet grow room too, just for flowering though. Yeah temp can be hard to control sometime i guess. Lucky i bought a small air conditioner and with some vent hoses hooked it up for inside and outside air flows. Temp are stable during light on and off for dark period. Wow, 2k on your grow stuffs! Nice! Good luck on your flowering buds. Post up some pics Tim!

I know man! This stuff is expensive if you want it done right... I am waiting till its finished to post pictures. But yeah i got a second job only because i was at home all the time and the GF works nights so i had an opportunity to work for a landscaping company as their architect just part time.. But hay, hew could not use a little extra money! But i might not get job, just pondering it!!

:D Trillion !! I was gonna say .....keep on manual switching . LOL . I done that before , cell phone alarm set ...woke up in the middle of the night and turn on the light for flowering ....oh duh .....that was my first grow . :holysheep: mostly hermies ...... :eek: :D . Long story !!! LOL

Yeah Timmy, it's a portable ac from walmart with air connecting hose inside and outside. It's use about 900 watt power so it's ok. Keep my plants warm during winter and kool during the coming summer. I saw a couple vids from that Urban Grower guy, alot of his guest growers also have portable ac in their grow room too. It's the only ventilation for my room, yeah and one fan to move air around.

Yep. Buy the timers. Get the digital ones. They cost a little more but are well worth it. Make sure its a good brand name too. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.
