Here are a few pics of my babies in day two of flowering. IMO they look pretty good! :confused2: I changed their nutes to GreenLight 12-55-6 and im POSITIVE that there is NO light getting in during thier 12 hours of dark. :D

No sign of thier sex yet but its a little soon to tell I know, but out of 5 plants im hoping atleast one will be a chick.

When exactly do I need to stop giving them nutes?

They look good so far megan. They should be showing their sex in the next few days. I'm crossing my fingers for you. I hope they are all female for ya. I give nutes until about 2 weeks before harvest. I then just use straight water. Keep us posted on your progress. Take care and be safe.

What brand of nutes? Npk values are kinda weird.

Green Light nutes supposed to help your plants want to bloom.

Right stuff or no?

I would try to get anything Fox farms for nutes. They seem to be the best and I have never had any problems with it. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.

Im still supposed to prun my plants even in the flowering stage correct? When exactly is the best time to do that and what is the best way to do it?

Yeah your nutes seemed like a bloom enhancer or something (phosphorus seems pretty high for just a bloom nute). I'll look it up and see.

I checked out your nutes and they seem a little shady. I'm sure they will work (I wouldn't use it), but I wouldn't expect mind blowing results. Just use with caution, pretty strong stuff.

What pretty children---we'll keep our fingers crossed for girls!

I would different nutes, so you knew what you had, rather than questioning whether the green was good for blooming. For example, in the GH Flora series, the green is for growing.

I never prune my plants. Mine are 2-3' when I put them into flower. The only pruning I do is to remove smaller lower branches where the buds will not develop anyway. Some of these become clones.

Yeah that's an enhancer, those numbers are close to the 3 part enhancer that FF has. No need to go crazy just find a bloom nute. Fox Farms, Botanicare, GH, etc. the choice is yours just make sure it's ok for hydro. Botanicare is the closest to organic in the above list.

Ok as for pruning, in flower it's just going to delay and drag out the budding period and stress the plants. What I do is make sure the bottom 1/3 of the plant is clean of vegetation. I do not cut all 1/3 at once of course, I do half one week and half the following week, and these become clones.

Plants look nice BTW. What's in the vials? Nutes?

I used a ph testing kit that you use to test NPK individually so I could make sure all the nutes were right before I started them on 12/12. :D

This is my first time to grow anything EVER so im trying to read and learn everything I can in hopes to do this right so I really appreciate all your help and advice. :hubba:
