So the conversation got heated,
Are clones stronger in THC than Mother plants grown from seed?
My humble opinion is, must be the same, as they are from the mother plant.
The arguement is that clones get stronger each time they are cloned.
this does not make sense to me. am i missing something?
mother plant and clone have got to be the same, so the word clone.
What are your thots on this?

Ive noticed no differance from my first grow with seed.
I have heard a clone from a clone from a clone can degrade the strain after many, like 13 times cloned.

I found out in early cloning attemts that it does cloning from clones degrades potency after a few times, many say its strain dependant. Id have to agree with them its always the better the genes the better the plant, and in that would say the longer you could potentially keep cloning it.

I think this myth may be due to the practice of cloning a new plant at week 4-6, and flowering it while the cuttings are rooting. So the first batch of clones end up more mature at flowering than the original seed plant.
But I suppose there is also a lot of grey area involved. A subsequent clone would likely be grown in slightly different conditions, unless you're a real master at environmental control. I read that cooler night temps in flowering will increase potency markedly in some genetics. So an indoor crop in summer as opposed to winter might experience very different temp and humiditiy ranges ~

i have heard as you Green man, that higher elevations given to cooling nights will make bud more potent than crop grown where night temps stay high.
Thank you all for your input, i am gonna share this with my friend who says clones become more potent than the mother plant.

So is it true about cloning a clone for many as 10th generations, the potent will be not worthed growing ? If this is ....then im gonna prepared myself with seeds just in case. Myth ? .......hope this is just a myth cuz i like cloning better than starting seeds.

i to have heard that after ten or so generations from one plant makes the potency less, but i have never had the opportunity to check this.
