cfl question

Gettin ready to start my first grow and i have a 400 mh conversion bulb for my hps system. i'll be growing only 4 plants in a 4 gal res dwc hydro, in an attic 4x2x4 cab. i was just doing some reading about cfl's. and i was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to buy a few 65-100watter cfls to put along with the 400 mh, for some added vegging light? would this be overboard in this small of a cab, for that few of plants?

I think that light is great and you shouldn't need more unless they veg a long time and then you could put cfls on the sides, i was thinking the same thing as now my grow could use some light on the sides, just a thought i had, the 400 is plenty for now :p GOOD LUCK!!!

thanks so much. i thought it would be enough, but wanted some opinions to make sure. just want to get the biggest bang for my buck, so to speak.

old blue. where did you get your conversion bulb from every one i found is like 60.00 to over a 100.00. just wondering if you had any good sites.. thanks

i got mine from HTG supply. they have really good prices. not sure exactly how much the bulb was, cause i bought the the whole mh/hps package. but deff check them out.
