Scientists believe NASA's Phoenix Mars lander Phoenix's arm encountered a hard surface while digging another trench Thursday and scientists were hopeful of uncovering an icy layer, the space agency said. That trench is called "Snow White 2."

Doesn't anyone else see the evolution of the Red planet as its outer shell is starting to erode away naturally and with help of the bot soon it will start forming life that will shape the planet. Then we will do as we did when we came to Earth, well crash land have none of our life bettering technology and have to start over again as hairless apes. After all thats how it happened when we crashed here from Mercury(known then as Earth) and killed the last of the Dino's and Mammoths.
