Has got me thinking this morning.


How did or does your partner, wife or loved one feel about you growing and or smoking?

My wife was, at first, not amused and when my 1st grow began to flower she was beside herself.

The whole house stunk of skunk.

Over the years she has mellowed.

Indeed this week as she was hanging out some washing I caught a glance of her stroking my plants, and savouring the aroma. Talking about this later that day she admitted that she prefers the smell of the plant/flowers much more than the fumes while I smoke.

She is a none smoker.

I wish i had a partner to help me with my passion. As for now, i travel this road alone hopeing there is some girl out there that shares my passion as much as i do. Be happy you have such a gift to treasure thats willing to let you be happy and be yourself. Peace and Love!!!!!!

My girlfriend doesn't smoke but doesn't care that we grow or smoke. She knows we save about $5,000 to $6,000 a year from not buying it. :hubba: If she did mind she would be out the door. :eek: :p ;)

I'm very lucky to say she is behind me 100%. Like me, she believes that the laws are silly. She loves to smoke too.

He hates it! He barely tolerates it. I swore I would only do 1 grow and I've kept my word. He isn't real fond of my smoking either. But if I am having a bad day he tells me to go smoke. :p

He does often joke that 'my friends' are up to no good whenever there's a big bust on the news....LOL. We just laugh.

FYI- he's a total goody 2 shoes. Doesnt drink or smoke. It's ok. More for me, and I always have a designated driver, haha. ;)

I told the wife i was going to grow and she told me to keep it on the DL. I have done that, and she don't complain when i don't have to buy weed for me and her.If she would of been totally opposed i wouldn't of done it inside. But i would of grown somewhere. Somehow.

I have lived with my girl for almost 6 years now and she doesn't mind most of the time. The only time she really gets upset is when I smoke some killers. I don't mind because the when she gets angry it only means I have got some great bud!

I've been growing outdoors since I was a kid so after 10 years she was used to that.Since I started indoors she seems a little more worried though.Not to mention she is going have to slow down because it's her last year of school to get her RN license.

my girlfriend was not high on the subject.(pun intended). but she's come about 120 degrees from her original opposition, and occasionally will sit in on a session. she knows that i grow mainly to keep friends and family in good smoke. i get paid in good times, food, and beer. if that makes me a dealer, than so be it. i prefer the term ''unlicenced trader''.

My wife doesn't smoke at all but has no problem what so ever that I grow and smoke. She thinks they are pretty, and she admires that I am ambitious enough to be self sufficient and grow my own. She's a real good woman.

Luckily me and my wife are on the same page. Legalization, Laws, Lies and Mis-Information (her doctor told her that MJ causes holes in your brain) then tried to sell her pills...she just laughed in her face and left.

god I love that woman...just wish she'd stop smkin all the prime stash.

LOL i would never trust a lover or other or partner unless of course i was sure like 20 years or even 30 years to say its cool. i've seen and had and herd of too many friends and acquaintances an others get spited by a lover in a quarrel in the heat of it all. girl gets mad at boy girl rats boy out cuz she angry and spiteful etc,,, and boy sits in jail i wish, woulda coulda shoulda... lol i seen it a dozen or better times even when i was in jail for 6 months. its pitiful hearing guys tellin why they got busted or how when it involves a mad or jealous girlfrend wife or even ex girlfriend. i in my opinion strongly advise against tellin any lovers or partners bout any illegal activity or even where ur weed is growing especially when she can get mad at any time and spite u and go destroy ur crop and leave it lay dead for it to rub in ur face after finding this happened.
if u dont want any trouble or problems dont talk bout anythin to anyone especially lovers is my opinion.

I am blessed like some of you others we been together long time and she would smoke but cant because of a darn good job that she feels insnt worth risking... even though she hasnt been tested in over 4 years! She dont care I gro because she knows I keep it small under felony numbers, I am discreet, gro for myself and dont sell, and dont care if I smoke. Good woman I tell ya'. She puts up with me! Really, after the years she is pretty much oblivious to whatever gro I have going and could probably honestly say "I had no idea that was growing on the property!" She does think the hydro setups are really interesting. And if in a social situation has been known to wave smoke her way and likes the smell of some good burning sticky. Doesnt like a house smelling of curing buds however.

when i got married wife didnt even know i smoked. 20 yrs later she'll smoke when shes got a bad migraine. as far as the grow, she's less paranoid than i am. and she even gave up her shower and used the extra one for a couple months so i could have mother plants. my wife rules...im gonna go give her a hug:hubba:

She loves to smoke almost as much as me. I came home from twilight golf league today and she had a huge grin. She looked so sexy. :hubba: i love it when she's all grinny and her lids are hangin low.

She has no problems with the grows.

My wife does'nt smoke now,but did when we first married.Does'nt now cause of blood pressure and heart probs. but she does'nt mind if I grow or smoke as long as I keep it downlow. I can take a few hits in the bedroom with door shut for a while, but I go out back if I'm gonna hit it hard-I'm fine.
When I did my first grow ever and it got rootbound, she transplanted and trimmed the roots for me!

been with my girl 4 years and wanna start grow. My girl say's she don't get high but uhhhhh I think she does I am just to high to really know. She is all for Legalize but not for grow. I mentioned it once and got the evil look and and " Oh no you didn't".

I'm gay and not really in a relationship at the moment. I am talking to someone and although they don't smoke pot, they are not opposed to it, nor do they have a problem with my smoking. In fact, they think it should be legalized as well! In the past, I have been with some people who think that MJ is bad, but thats only because of all the misinformation that we are given growing up. My favorite is that marijuana is a gateway drug, thats why it's illegal. According to that definition, so is alcohol and tobacco!!! :hubba: :holysheep:

There is a girl I really like in Canada that shares my ups and downs. A friend in New England thinks it is harmless and is curious. Then there is the woman who I really have a serious feeling about and care for her deeply; she does not like it at all. She has her own "muse" which I disagree with although lately she has been opening up and is trying to understand. I think eventually she will see it for what it is and get over the stereotype.
