Fox Farm Fertilizing Fiasco

i've read a lot of what i could find on fertilizers but still have a couple questions.

what is fox farm fertilizer and where can i get it? is it a fert with no nutrients where you just add your nutrients via buying the nutrients seperately and putting them in water as a solution and watering and feeding them at the same time? or am i completely off?
