Is there a plant that looks similar to mj? while the mj is still juvenile maybe?

I realize there is a point where only mj resembles mj, I was just wondering how long I can pretend my plants are something else while they are coexisting on the porch with my wife's container plants...:D

japanese maple trees look like fan leaves but they're purple. tell anyone who asks they're chines maple trees just like japanese but green.

Yeah my buddie covers around the perimiter of his whole patch with japanese maple plants, they are some cool and neat looking plants i love 'em. Peace and Love!!!

And if the smell invites questions tell her one of them is sage brush...doest really look similar but it smells the same and i would be willing to bet she wont be doing research on it...
