Fertilizer question?

Hi guys I just bought the whole set of fox farm ferts(Big bloom,grow big,tiger bloom,open sesame,cha ching,beastie bloomz) and was wondering after mixing up the ferts how long are they good? The reason i ask is I mix 1/2 gallon at a time and only use mybe half of it, could I just put the remainder in a gallon jug for my next use or dose it lose something over time? Of course I would check the ph before reusing as I always check the ph. I hope this question isn't to stupid, up until now I've been throwing out the extra, and with the cost of the ferts I would like to conserve if possible. It will lose potency over time as the additives break down and decay, but this won't happen for a while if you store it properly. Put your extra in an air tight container and store in a cool DARK place. Light of any kind can speed the degridation of the chems, like milk in clear glass - not really a good idea. :)

You should surely be saving the extra and just putting it up for the next use. No reason at all to throw it out! You have a LONG time before that stuff goes bad (if it ever does) so save yourself some money and put the lid on tight. lol. Good Luck.
