HELP "flies" !

hi everyone. nice sunny day here in the uk. can anyone answer this weird question. ive been told to really look out for bugs and nasty insect things . that could infect my babies. im getting really stressed out about this cause there are normal house flies in my grow room . could these affect my plants or what ? ? now dont laugh at me . its a serious question !

i think your safe with a few house flies. its fungus nats and spidermites that you really have to watch out for.

I had a few flies when I first set my room up. I am not sure where they came from but they were the shiny green kind. Think they may have hitched a ride in a box or something and began to breed. I didn't think much at first (3-4) but the next day there was 20. I pulled the glass out of my air cooled hoods and shut the door to the room. Next morning there were no flies, not even a wing. Haven't seen one since. I also have a new resident in the room (big *** wolf spider) that may have free room and board as long as he wants.

I get ordinary house flies on top leaves of plants when I use Flourescent gro bulbs, I think they like the fact that I keep these bulbs up close to the plant and the warm heat feels nice???? Never noticed any damage, but I have put on sevin dust and that seemed to discourage them from their favorite hang out!
