NEW clones lighting schedule

i got the clones today at like 12 noon, got them planted around 5 and under light at 6:08, it's now 11:16, their schedule is going to be 18/6, from 6am until 12 midnight. but since i started them at 6 should i go til midnight (6 hours on) then start them on their regular schedule?

or should i leave the light on the whole time until the next midnight coming up and s tart them on that schedule?

it's 11:17 july 21st. should i turn them off at 12:01am (i say 12:01 to be more clear of what day im talking about) midnight july 22nd, then turn them on at 6am, and repeat.

or should i turn leave them on until 12:01am july 23rd, then start them back on at 6am july 23rd. and repeat?

run 18/6 if they already have roots. 24/7 if not (till they do)
digital timers are more accurate.. if you want it to the minute..

18/6 till there well rooted, potted on and ready to go under 12/12 to flower always works well for me

At this size, it doesn't matter when you change the light schedule.
