Is it possible to have a clone from a female turn to a male? I cut over 30 clones from the same plant and i had two turn out as full blown males. They were not hermies at all. they were definitly males. I am so confused. I know it is impossible for a clone from a female to become a male but i swear it happened. I have a few hermies right now so i know what a hermie is and looks like. Anybody???

Obviously the ones that turned out to be males came from male plants that you didn't wait until pre-flowers appeared. A clone is an exact genetic match as the plant it is taken from so I suggest that you wait until pre-flowers show before taking cuttings. The dictionary describes a clone as, 1. Biology.
a. a cell, cell product, or organism that is genetically identical to the unit or individual from which it was derived.
b. a population of identical units, cells, or individuals that derive from the same ancestral line.

There no way he could have.

I have NEVER heard of, nor would I believe it 'possible'. (I'm not going to call you a liar, cause you're looking right at them) .. but It has to be hermophradite genetics.

i had too many clones and not enough pots so i doubled up and put two clones per pot. In both cases there was one male and one female in each pot. doesnt make sense. owell, its probably something stupid like me putting the wrong plant in the pot.
