Water Clones now?

i have 12 clones, under a 600 watt hps light (air cooled) they've been under that light since 6pm yesterday , and it's 6pm right now, i plan on turning it off at midnight and starting an 18/6 day, off at midnight, on at 6am. when should i water them?

by the way, the clones came in some kind of easily breakable very moistured material that i planted in with the soil. so i dont know if that's considered a watering or not.

and how much water should i use?

stick your finger 2-3 inches in soil (carefull of the roots) if its damp no watering, if its dry water. dunno how much water, it may vary with plant, pot, soil etc. Remember a plant will be healthier under-watered than over-watered. I water my plants every 2-3 days. Under your HPS you may have to water more i dunno i use flo's
