howdy folks, Ive been trying to germinate kiwi seeds all for a LOOOOONG time. Ive given up, tried dif methods, given up, tried again. Google tells me Kiwi needs 90 days germination! I laughed my butt off when i read this. Well about 45 days in; i get home from work today, check my girls and garden and found a tiny sprout! :yay:
HA HAAAAA! IN YOUR FACE!
Only problem, i planted about 50 seeds lol (i wanted results dang it!). I know with my other grows once 1 seed pops the rest follow. So everyone wish me luck with my kiwi kindergarden, an if anyone's grown this vine i'd love some tips. :D

Congrats on the success! just think if it took 90 days to open a MJ seed! No tips here...sorry.

Did you pull your seeds from a store bought fruit and if so what did you do to prepare them for germination? Did you dry them for a period of time. Just curious, might like to give this a go.

store bought i just scooped em out and dried for 1-2 weeks. Then put about 50 1/4 inch down into soil dixie cup. Its still alive.
