topping?

im growing big bud, and i was wondering if there would be any benefits to toping the plant, becuse i heard that its not a good idea to top a plant like that

Big bud is named big bud for a reason, if you top big bud you are taking the bud tip off, ok you will get 2 other main cola's but not the big bud that the plant is named after.

i personally think you get just as much bud,just keeps the plant shorter.i topped a sat. dom just because of the height issue and she is looking good.jmo

Topping big bud may not be a bad idea. When I grew it I got mould in a couple of the buds (very compact, thick buds). Smaller buds might eliminate that problem.

The bigger, and more compact the bud, the higher the chance of mould.
