I'm stepping down as moderator today

Hey Everyone-

I love this site. I spend wayyy too much time here, and it's begun to interfere with my personal life. Time to reprioritize what's most important and that is my family. Being a moderator made me feel obligated to spend countless hours here each day, and I don't have the discipline to just scale back.

I will still be around daily, gotta get my fix after all. :D But this will also free me up for other things that need doing around here.

I am looking forward to being on the other side. May even cause the ol mods some trouble every now and again...:p Hahahaha, kidding guys. Or am I? ;)

I too know how easy it is to lose yourself in this digital world...... I am glad you were/are able to step back and take yourself back out on your own..... I too was involved online where all my time went for no REAL reason.... not on a forum, but on a MMRPG ..... it ruled my life for about 5 years LOL..... well I finally got fed up with it and stopped it cold turkey and was the best thing I ever did....... I miss the friends I had there though I still have contact with some of them.... but the lil backstep i took was a good thing....... got me involved with real life again heh....


Not sure if your involvement led to this level of committment, but it did for me heh.... so I think I sorta know where you are coming from.....

I know what u mean about spending time on the computer and it does take up time from other things around the house and that why I limit my time Only in the Morning when i wake up alittle and a little at night time.
Another reason I had to cut back on how much I spend on the comp is my Other Half gets Mad if I spend to much on the comp..

My two Son's 22 and 19 have grown up so fast that it scares me where time has gone.
It is a wise discission you have made to stop and take time to enjoy your life with your family that loves and needs you very much!!
