I just bought a 125 watt full spectrum Compact bulb(10k lumens) also im going to be using 1 42 watt cfl...I was wondering if i should buy another 125 watt bulb. Im going to be using these for flowering also..I remember someone said that i should use the 42 watt cfls for veg and then switch to my 125 watt....is that true or should i just use all of them at the same time, the entire grow

The more the better wth CFL. I don't even know if you can burn a plant with CFL's?

I'd use em for the entire grow. Yes if the plant gets too close they will burn (1/2" or less). the compact ones do get a little hotter then regular tube florous.
