Just wondering what VAC is? Googled it and Im still not sure. What does it mean when a fan operates on a 115 VAC and 11-40 watts. Can it be wired and used like a pc fan? Thanks.

VAC= Volts Alternating Current, meaning it is AC not DC and gets wired as anything else that gets plugged into the wall, A PC fan needs a DC adaptor to take it down in volts, what kind of fan is it? Here is some good info compliments of Mutt.

Just make sure if you get a DC one to get an adaptor also and you'll be set.

I disagree..haha DC is "direct current" it's the difference between 12 and 120 volts...
