Best cycle for maximum yield?

Ok I know all strains are different but lets just talk about around about figure.
How many weeks for vegging?
How many weeks for flowering?

Id really like to get 2-3oz off each indoor soil plant.
Im wondering if stepping up to a 5gal bucket vs a 3 gallon will yield me more?

YUP....more root system = more yield ! think roots MUST support the plant !

a cannabis plant can basically vegitate forever.
so if your growing indoors, how much height do you have to work with?
Just remember your plant may triple in size when flowering is induced.
Without adequate lighting, ventilation, room temps, proper feeding and watering times then your strain wont give you all its got anyways..
