Is it ok to switch lights now??

I am using a 400w MH right now and my plants have been into flowering for 4 days now.. Would it shock the plants to switch them now to a 400w HPS light?

personally i don't see any problem with the switch. they should be used to the HID already. i go direct from floro to hps with no problems.
