Note to self.
When making a cabinet for the attic. Do not forget to take into account the Pull down stair hardware. went from 24" to 20". and my cab is 22". Needless to say my last half hour was taking off hardware. :mad: . (typing while kicking myself). need to sit for a few. 80lb. cabinet and all by myself. :( . whew.
Good thing I waited for the kids to be in school. After pushin, shovin, sweatin, bleedin, and lots and lots of cussin. Its up there. and its never coming back down. I'll sell it with the freakin house before I pull that thing down.
Sorry for rantin, but attic grows are tough in more way than one. LOL. Gawd what I'd do for a 20'X20' basement, secret door, whole 9 yds. 10'X10' flower. 5'X5' veg/clones, and 5'X5' work area. I'd be so set. with partition walls, sealed doors to each section. bout 3-4KW worth of lamps. Oh man!!!

Back in my single days I woulda had something like that. But when I said "I do" it meant "I won't do this no more and that no more" :( :p I'm bound to the small scale for the next 16 yrs. :eek:
well thats cab. #2 up. ducting in place. DIY carbon filter. ambient 78F in a 36" high by 24"WX22"D cab. with a 250W HPS with a screen for ht. control. Rockin and rollin.
one more cab to go. Thank god Summer is almost over. !!!!!YAY!!!!!! Good bye heat wave.

well had to move to make that happen but got my space ;)
10k btu AC keeps it around 82 and poly vinal walls work great and are light and easy to install

gota hand it to ya tho mang attic grows arnt simple at all as i know all to well :rolleyes:
just gotta get the ac and exhaust sorted ....
I'm only use's a 7x7 right now with 1750 hps do to summer heat but will exspand that soon to 3k as outside temps drop
I'm run'n a 465 out the roof in flower side and intake for whole room is the ac with vent open and allso exhaust's the none flower side.

Is the AC a window unit or part of the whole house?. I have intake in from a bathroom vent (conditioned) into the each cab. then outake through a carbon filter into the return line. Keeping the system still closed and more effecient. with Inline fans each end. But the heat in that attic was unmanagable july and first week of aug. 105-110 up there. but now in the lower nineties thank gawd.

dig, dig, dig - hey what cha doin? oh hi neighbour, im putting in a root cellar, gotta get it down below the frost level. dont have to be that large, only 10' x 10' and 8' down. then im gonna drop a storage shed right down inside with no roof. neat eh? line it with c4 fire board insulation. gonna build me a garden shed right next to it and have a choppin table and a meat saw put in. maybe even run a water line to wash everything down. gonna save a bundle on groceries by buying bulk. gotta get busy, see ya neighbour, dig, dig, dig.
