this is prob a stupid question but can i run 2 400w mh light off of one ballast?
sarge..."only" if you run 1 at a time.

ok thx hick.i had another bulb hanging out and wanted to use it.i didnt think i chould do it but wanted to find out first.have you ever grown nlxbb before?
i have 6going now and 2 have yellow crispy leaves on the bottom.and the other4 are doing good.no ferts yet just water.my soil is scotts brand
my ph is a little high almost 7.they are almost 3 weeks old i also have a plant from a good bag of weed and the other tall one if from an indoor mix i got from gypsy.they are 5 weeks today.same soil,
the 2 plants are one of the little pots close to us and the other is last one top row close to the fan

the 3 in the cups are more bag seed .my fans quit in my veg box and it got super hot in there.tryin to bring them back

Two bulbs can indeed be run on one ballast...
that is....as long as it's a dual ballast.

Buddy of mine has a dual socket switchable digital ballast. To much $$$ for my blood !!
