I was just thinking about the seeds and I hope I didnt make an error.. I just used tap water that I have no clue the PH or anything.. Am I ok?

Is there a preffered temperature? is 80 to high?That should be fine. We stick ours right next to the heater when we germ our seeds.

Whats the science behind a dark place? Why do they need to be dark? Is this to fool them they are in the ground?
