i think it would be very helpfull if there was a nutrient recipe catergory.
were maybe their was a prebuilt spreadsheat/form, were you can plugin the nutrients you use for your grow with amounts per ltr/gal. also it would be helpfull to divide the furum hydro (what type of hydro) and soil.
what do you think?

why has this thread about starting a nutrient recipe forum, been left unanswered, no reply's nothing. there seems to be a fair amount of interest from the members, and i personaly think that a forum with peoples recipes for hydro, soil mothers clones differnt types of hydro ect. would be a tremendous tool for both the beginer and the experts.

can somebody please respond

It's been discussed a little...everyone is ok with change I think...but I'm not sure how we would accomplish this. I mean, a forum like 'Nutrients and grow mediums' I guess, could be subcategorized under 'hydroponics, indoor, outdoor'. But I think an individual forum with the title 'Nutrients and grow mediums' would become just as cluttered and confusing as 'indoor growing' with all the various methods...organic, hydro, soil, outdoor. The new popular place to post when you don't know where to.

true, but if everyone does their part it should be cool, personally i think this would be one of the more important topics to discuss, dont get me wrong bud pictures are sweet but you dont learn anything from them. i think a category just like you said Nutrients & Grow mediums would be just fine, maybe with a couple sub categories for hydro and outdoor, and from what ive seen most of the posts in the indoor growing section are about mediums and nutrients anyways. this would really help out A lOT. but if its not possible, thats totally cool, thanks for trying.

i think if we had two base catagories soil and hydro, then inside the root catagories there would be sub catorgories HYDRO- lets say for aguements sake ebb and flow dwc aeroponic, organic Then soil indoor outdoor gorrilla organic.
i think it would be good to catogorize the different hydro styles , becouse my ebb and flow recipe would clog my aeroponic system and my ebb and flow system recipe would burn my plants in my dwc ect..

but if the programing would cost to much or whatever else might be a problem i would think a general nutrient recipe forum would be great.

a place were i can tell you what i had great success with, and also what i would never use again. it would also be cool to see other peoples mothers recipes, flushing recipes, foliar regimans.

There are so many great products-we are all constantly testing and tweaking, why not make our knowlege available, so we can learn from or fellow mj'ers.

This would not only save us the time of testing a product or product line, but also save us from buying ineffective or uneccesarry products.
