Quick Question About LST.

So This Morning I Started Experimenting With LST. I Used Twist Ties And Bent 1 Of My Plants Top Down Under The Last Node (Small Plants) Well Whitin A Few Hour's I Went To Check On It And I Noticed That The Top Had Turned Back Upward And Was Setting Level Agian. WIll It Just Continue To Grow Up or Will The Branches Abouve It Start As The New Top's? Maybe It is Just To Early For This. Also Will Pinching This Early Start New Branches?

You need to wait a few days, then you should see your lower branches start to get big. All lst does is provide light to the bottom of the plant, not just the top. Your girl should bush out now that she's tied down. Btw, i'm also from the bluegrass state...what a coincidence!

Hey man,
you should provide some pics, so we can see your lst setup. Like bomb said, all lst does is provide light to the bottom, but if you started the lst early enough it should start new tops. If you start it late in without ever cutting the top of the plant, it will just bend for a while and continue growing upward, with only the bottom branches getting more bushy. But if it is started early, then the bottom, with enough light, will equal your main stem growth and give you more good sized tops, and that is assuming that you haven't "topped" it yet. But you can top it, and then just get normal multi-tops, along with lst, it will make your plant very bushy and a lot of potential flowering sites.
