Okay, so it isn't technically cooking but:
I used about a half bottle of Everclear and shoved in probably like 30-40 grams of decent over dryed bud in there. I have been shaking it up whenever I am around the bottle, and now I have a super green colored everclear mixture. When is it done? And when I strain the weed out of there, will the THC stay in the everclear? Any ideas to make this stuff not taste nasty?
Thanks!

I talked to a friend who has made it many a time and he said:
"That's it! Should be ready to drink, if you're trying to make green dragon. Pour it through several layers of coffee filters into another container and you should be ready to rock. I usually only soak mine for an hour or so, and that kicks my *** plenty, so yeah, the THC is gonna be in there. Don't worry about that. It's hard to screw up Green Dragon."
More or less. Hope that covers it. I'm hoping to make my first batch soon here, too. From what I read around here, the neat trick is grinding it all up and soaking it in water for a week, agitating it twice a day. Filter it, discard the water (this gets rid of the clorophyll and thus the green and nasty flavors) and then soak the weed in Everclear or Devil's Springs a week or more. Filter that, then run it through a brita filter to ensure all the particles and such are gone, throw it in the freezer and enjoy a half a shot that equals a bowl of weed and no smoke involed whenever you like. ;)
I'm thinking a half-strength dry martini to go with the DVD release of Casino Royale in a month or so. ;)

hi Guys :-)
can green dragon be made with fresh cut bud or does it need to be dried?
The bud should be cured. After harvest the curing process has a lot of chemical changes resulting in more THC content.
