hey everyone,
I'm growing some seeds i got through a friend they are meant to be "Jamaican Pearl".
Not sure if this is true but i have smoked the weed which is rather tasty

The problem is some of the seedlings which are prob 2weeks old have started looking rather elongated :p
They have super long stems and some are even bending and lying sideways (cause of the weight of the leafs and lank of strength of stalk)
I have recently fertilized them which boosted the grow but stalks are still long and thin.
Is this because of weak genetics? Lack of some sort of nutrient?
(they are exposed to wind so dnt understand why the stalks arent strengthening)
thanks for the help!

is the light close enough? you can prop them with toothpicks.

a plastic fork broke in half works well too. usually we dont feed them nutes the first month-6 weeks.

Did you do any research at all before you dived into growing?

These problems are caused by you, not the plants, you are causing them.

What lights are you using?

How far away are the lights?

You should NEVER feed a plant until it is 4 weeks old.

Feeding the plant/s are now going to cause you a secondary problem.

What feed did you give the seedlings?

:peace:

........I seeeeeeee a great lack of airflow/ventilation.........

If its long and thin and you blow it, its going to fall over.

Did I really type that?

Re pot and bury them deep up to the leaves, the real ones.

Then lower your lights, a lot.

Put your hand at the top of the plants canopy.

Lower the light until it feels warm on the back of your hand.

That is where you want its height.

:peace:

Thanks for all the help guys!
they are being grown outdoor. Except for when the weather gets really bad. then i take them indoor but thats normally just for a couple of hours and they have light on my window sill.
i fed them completely organic stuff and only a 1/4 strength
oh and they were planted on the 19th of august so that makes them just over 3 weeks, sorry.
Im going to try what "HippyinEngland" said sounds like its kind of my only option now.
Oh n before u guys think im crazy these plants are being grown in South Africa where spring just started!
I did do research but these are kind of like my trials before i plant the seeds which i spend money on buying!
thanks again everyone
