Crispy leaves?

I'm growing purple wrecks. Most are growing pretty well. However, a couple plants have leaves that have become crispy. They have the same color as other leaves, but its obvious that they are stiff. What causes this?

Without pics it is though tell....... what nutrients and how much are you using....... how old are your plants.... what lights are you using...... what are your room temps.
