this is a SCROG burmese kush from thseeds. it is in its second month of vegetative growth aprox. has been stunted for the past 3 weeks. only been giving h2o for past 2 1/2 weeks and my PH is at 6.8. now beginning to yellow quickly but has been looking droopy for the last few weeks. new growth seems to be kind of scrawny and curling down. my temps are fluxuating between 68F and 80F humidity is very low. it's under a 400W air cooled HPS. fertalizer i was giving before stunted growth was iguana juice grow by advanced nutrients. please look at my pictures any help would be appreciated.

It's ram horning. and looks almost over/under watered (both look the same in the beginning) and touch too much "N". It's a heavy sat why are you vegging so long? you still got at least 2-1/2 months of flower ahead of ya.
Sats are a picky thing to grow. very sensitive.
Is the 6.8 from the drainage? or whats going in?
might have some salt build up too after 2 months of veg.
Also how large of containers do you have for em? might be heavily bound (wich i never really bought "root" bound being such a bad thing :p) but would be easier to underwater or overfert. if bound

Sorry I am not familiar with the term ram horning or Sats.
I was still vegging because I wanted to fill out the screen as much as possible but that is when it became stunted. Should I switch over to 12\12 now, even though it is still struggling?
The 6.8 is from the drainage and 6.5 is what is going in. It is in a 5 gallon pot so I don’t think there should be any root bound.
Thanks for the help!!

Ram horning is when the leaves curl down like a rams horn. ussually when i see this its a nitrogen overdose (happens with veg nutes)

Sativa=Sat
Very long flowering, picky on nutrients and some of the super sativas take different lighting periods different from the standard. Some only do 4 week veg b4 flipping over to flower...some start 12/12 immediatley indoor. Sativas will grow more roots in flower unlike indicas were root growth slows drastically during flower.

They also get 2-3x bigger during flower. where indicas are not as drastic during there stretch.

YES indoor i would have switched em early on. your going to have some monsters on your hands.

I would just feed it H20 and get a handle on the problem

Make sure you have good drainage in the bottom of the buckets too. Ease up on the watering too. MJ prefer a lil underwater opposed to overwater.

6.8ph is good. So would keep an eye on it. if the curls continue to curl over the next couple of days will have to dig deeper into your problem.

picked a hard strain for a first time if you never grew b4. but still a lovely looking pheno :D

edit:
also if the drainage is brown and yukkie might need a flush ;) not sure about your ferts...chem ferts will leave tons of salt buildup over time and need flushing to clean out the salts.

We have left our plants in veg for maybe 2 months with no real ill effect. I am guessing this is due to the particular strain. Ours must be more forgiving than yours.

I think you guys are right about the strain, I think next time I will go with an all indica. Do you think I should flip to 12\12 now or wait for it to show some growth?
