Light absorbtion

I am 3 weeks into flowering now and i have a question. When the plant is in full flower where does most of the light absorbtion take place? through the buds or the leaves? basically do the buds absorb the energy from the lights? or is it the leaves alone that do all absorbing?

The leaves do the solar processes, the buds are for procreation. I would think that some light is absorbed by the buds, but the leaves do most of it.

yeah leaves absorb more light than bud..bud does a little but no where near as much as leaves..bud gets everything from leaves..thats why they call them sucker leaves
