First time growing outdoors in Vermont and I too late to start I just ordered my seeds today !

I think that you are asking if it is too late? Did you mean to write: "First time growing outdoors in Vermont am I too late to start I just ordered my seeds today !"?

No, you are not too late. Flowering in cannabis is triggered when the days start getting shorter after the summer solstice. So, depending on exactly how long the seeds take, you will probably have 6-8 weeks before the first day of summer. Even then, it is going to take the plant a while to start flowering. The big thing will be if the weather in Vermont stays nice enough into the fall for them to finish. Outside you are at the mercy of Mother Nature. When do you usually get your first frost?
