The brand new Herb Museum in Vancouver, BC is an amazing collection of herb and psychoactive substance exhibits. David Malmo-Levine, a prominent cannabis activist, has been collecting artifacts for years and now has a great space to show them in. The Grand Opening Party and Art Auction is this Friday, September 12th between 6pm and 10pm at "Marc Emery's Cannabis Culture Headquarters", 307 West Hastings Street in Vancouver, BC.

See old cannabis, opium and coca medicine bottles; aphrodesiacs, hallucinogens, fungi, tobacco, cacao, coffee, tea, non-psychoactive botanicals and synthetics, pipes and hookahs, live plants, and more! Use a Volcano vaporizer, read our fantastic walls and trip out on your own massive botanical history! You can watch old and new drug movies -- our herbal movie collection contains over 200 selections -- and flip through our library and newspaper clippings too!

The Herb Museum is open from 2pm to 10pm every day inside the CCHQ second-floor store, above the main CCHQ store and vapour lounge. The Art Auction and Grand Opening Party, with a $5 admittance, will have live reefer jazz music provided by Bill Smalls (of the Tall Brothers) and artwork available for bidding on, many starting at just five dollars. Artists include Bob High, Ken Foster, John Walkus, Thunder, Rasta, D.F. Douglas and many more!

Check out the Facebook Page for this event or the Cannabis Culture forums. Contact David Malmo-Levine at 778-987-8349 if you have any questions or comments.
