i am very new to growing and have alot of questions. i think of this stuff alot. like when is the best time to tie her down. if im doing a scrog how many plants for a 600w hps with a 4x4 space. when should i top and fim. i have a ton of questions but one by one and eventually ill get the right way to grow my stuff
 
I usually start at around the 5-7 nodes mark. If I do not tie her down at all I just bend her over once I run out of height.
 
I just pinch the stalk or branches until they are soft, then they will just flop over.
 
Imo Top her early 2-3 nodes, start pinching/breaking when and where needed after she starts to grow from the split, trying to keep her spread out and keep her even, if your going to tie her down, do it when you flip she will still stretch though. Question is what strain? If it they are sat leaning you may end up tieng throughout the process lol...
