From my own personal experience, Neem oil works great for bugs. You have to spray every three days or so until the problem goes away. Use warm water and a little bit of dish soap when mixing up your bug spray. For seed...this year i have been saving the pollen sacks from the males and storing them in plastic bags until the pollen is released. I then pick out all the balls and throw them away. Only pollen is left in the bag and I'm going to "paint" a bud, with the pollen, on one of my girls and hopefully it will seed up.
