For organic soil grows (modified, improved Super Soil, in my case), what size pots are optimal? Pot sizes that provide just enough soil volume so that the nutrients last till the end of flowering, but not so much that soil is wasted?

Done it from 1 to 5 gallons using 3 now

I run 10-15-20 gal super soil, 1,2 or 3 in a pot, they were free so ill use em....

how about some 300 - 500 gallon fabric pots lol
