I stumbled across this thing looking for silicone tubing. A stainless steel cooling coil for whips. I bought it on a lark but, by gar, sitting in ice water, it works.

reminds me of the technique the volcano plenty uses to cool the vapor.

there are a few other ones out there, some have liquid inside and you freeze them, and there are even a few bubblers out there.

does it get super caked with reclaim when it's cold? i tend to go warmer on my rig water to stop it re-condensing too much.

what is reclaim? the stuff that coats the tubing?
I stopped dipping it in an ice bucket fearing sucking up condensation. I never saw any on the hose near it but figured safer than sorry, even air-cooled, I'd like to think it helps.

You vaping oil or herbs? the reclaim would be the recondensed oil that collects when the vapor is cooled. it's much less pronounced vaporizing dry herb.

herbs
I hang the tube in a sunlit window and drip that stuff on to sheet of aluminum foil. I didn't really notice any increase or decrease with that coil thing so far.

I was wondering specifically while it was cooled if it collects faster.

I prefer cold vapor esp from dry herb, but on an oil rig you'd cake it up in a second with a cold spot. (why i was wondering)

you could just throw the coil in the freezer/fridge rather than ice water :)

jeeze loeeze, I love this place... great idea!!, freezer is where I'm keeping that coil now. THANKS!!
How do you achieve cold vapour? which vaporizer?

Volcanoe with bag attachment is pretty cool/colder than my iolite pocket bape

there are bubblers for anything with a whip, and attachments you freeze that go near the mouthpiece. that goo you build up is gonna be some nice solventless oil!

I actually stock these:

these looked cool

I feel like I've been living under a rock, never heard of these
The silver surfer looks -cool-? really?
Did that just slip out or were you going for the pun? hahaha A hundred bucks though, need some decent yields here !!!
Solventless oil, indeed, I use a really long hose now :)
Sometimes a heat gun to help it along it's way if I'm dry.

there are other inline coolers out there for vapes as well. most aren't really designed to reclaim anything, just make it cool and enjoyable, like having an ice catcher in your water piece.

that 7th floor thing was cool though wasn't it ;)
