to leaf feed or not to leaf feed

i was just wondering what peoples thoughts are when it comes to leaf feeding, and is it considered acceptable during the flowing stage of growth? if so what types of fertilizer are best for this technique?

i know alot of people that do foliar feed but many people will not foliar feed at all during the flower stage i guess it could cause mold or other negative affects?

i have never used foliar feeding but i was thinking about it. the only down side i see is the fact that im spraying chemicals on something i will be burning. i think that could make me sick.
