Hey guys,

Grotek has lxr black (humic acid) and lxr gold (fulvic acid). Seems there are 2 labels for each product, one is omri certified 100% organic, the other is not..

Just so happens the bottle I have doesn't claim to be organic, could just be an old bottle tho, not too sure..

I found the msds for the lxr black, but it doesn't specify if it is the organic lxr black or the regular.

The msds says it contains Potassium Hydroxide and Humic acids, derived from leonardite.

Does this sound "organic safe"? If so, how soon could it be used on a seedling?

Thanks guys!

Do yourself and your plants a real big favor and leave the top on the bottle.

Keep it away from the seedling and when it gets bigger, the Humic and Fulvic that the EWC in the mix contains is more than adequate. Trust me on this, I had to find out the hard way.

Wet

Awesome thanks for the heads up, the bottle says

Directions for use:
Seedlings:
Use 4ml (1 tsp) per litre (32 oz) of water.
Apply solution to new cuttings or seeds after
planting or transplanting.

Depending on where purchased and brand they can both be organic.

Do I use them.....yes

Would I recommend them to a new grower....,.

No

I use the humic when building my soils and the fulvic in some teas. Both in very, very small amounts.
