Is it normal for a plant that has bug damage to grow far slower than a plant without? My plant had thrips and i finally got rid of them and my plant is very green and healthy angain, but it is like 2 months old and still only stand about 4 inches tall and no really big leaves. It almost looks like it is starting over. It is making progress, just slow. I look at pictures of plants that say 10 weeks and the ylook like shrubs and i get discouraged.

Your plant absorbs less sun light and is thus less vigorous with the loss of leaf matter.

What are you feeding it? somtimes, even without nute burn, nutes can cause toxic salts and build up on the roots, have you flushed with a regiment of three times the medium size with water? this may help, unless you have already done so. hope this may help you
