Hi guys I went out and finally bought a PH reader yesterday, and I'm glad I did because my soil reading is 9ph when I think it should be around 6. I was reading I could use vinegar on another post to lower PH so I took plantless pot of soil and put about 4 cups in and sure enough it went downt like 5.5, the question I have is won't the vinegar hurt my babies and would I just pour pure vinegar right on the soil as I did in my experiment or maybe dilute it alittle, I really don't want to hurt my girls as I only 20 days left in my 63 day flower cycle, any and all help appreciated PP

Personally I would just buy a Ph kit they really aren't that expensive and 5.5 may be a little too acidic. You want it right around 6 - 6.5 that would be ideal because that would be right around the neutral mark.
