DON'T!
Use New Horizon's Peat Free Organic Compost. Oh it's peat free but it also contains; Bonemeal, Hoof and Horn, Vinasse and Rock Phosphate.
"Some seed varieties may germinate more slowly in peat-free composts"... no kidding on both occassions they germinated like a line of buses over 7-9 days!. They "failed to thrive" on flowering, grew to only about 25-50% their usual size and the bud -though present- was ..well...s***e!
From now on I shall treat marijuana as a "lime-hating" plant.
This problem could be addressed if producers would only agree to a standardised system of ph and nutrient content display that could be present on all commercial soils.
